I’m a 30 year old male. I’m a little bit older than most guys, and I’m a little bit overweight. My husband is a doctor, and I’m a nurse practitioner, so I’m pretty much a normal person. When my husband first came home from university, he was a bit of a soreness kind of guy, but that was before he was in college. He had a lot of pain in his lower back, and he was getting really weak, and he was a bit fussy with his breathing. He was getting some weight around his waist, so I thought it was okay to get him some pills for pain, and he was in the process of getting a pump. He was getting a little bit of a stuffy throat, and he was getting the pain in his lower back and upper legs getting worse. So, I was like, “I’m sorry. I don’t want to get that stuffy throat.”
I had a few months ago, and I was really worried about getting too big. I tried to give it a shot, and it was like a little pain, but it was like a lot of pain. I’m going to try to get a pump, so that I’m able to get my chest tight and my jaw to come up. I also tried some pills, like Nolvadex, and it didn’t hurt so much. So, I went to see a doctor and got a prescription for an Nolvadex, and I’m a nurse practitioner in my home state, so I’m pretty sure that it’s not for me. I’ve also heard that Tamoxifen, another drug, is probably the same drug as Nolvadex, but it’s different. I just thought it was a good idea to ask my husband to do some research to see if there are any studies to show, but then it was like, “Ok, I’ll see what I can find.”
So, I got my first Nolvadex tablet and started taking it after my doctor gave me some advice, and I went to see the doctor and he said, “I’m just curious about that, since it’s like a big purple pill.” I was in a really bad mood, and I just couldn’t figure out how to give him the Nolvadex. So, I was taking the pills and he said, “Let’s start taking it at least once a day.” I was like, “Well, I can do that, just do it.” It was the first time I’ve tried to take Nolvadex. It just came up and he was like, “No, no, I don’t want to do that.” And I wanted to try it again, so I did it again and it was like, “Ok, now what?” It was like I got a little bit too big for a shot, and then he was like, “No, no, no, I can’t do that.” I wanted to do that again, and then I would go back to the doctor and say, “Ok, you can take it now.” But he said, “No, I’ll just take it a few more times a day.” So, it just came up and I was like, “No, it’s not that bad.” But he said, “Ok, you’ll be okay.” So, I went to my doctor and he said, “I think that you’re really a little bit bigger than me.” I thought that was weird, but I just wanted to get it figured out. So, he took me to the doctor and said, “OK, so we’ll start taking it a few times a day.” I was like, “OK, it’s a little bit bigger, but it’s not that big.” And he said, “OK, I’ll take it a few more times a day.” And then I was like, “OK, that’s the thing, that’s a lot bigger than me.” So, I was like, “OK, then you’ll be okay.”
So, I went back to my doctor and said, “Ok, this is where it’s not okay to take Nolvadex. But, I will be OK with that.
